  • Are you currently accepting new patients?
The short answer is yes. We have multiple clinicians accepting new patients at this time, but other clinicians may have a waitlist or are completely booked at the moment. Our available clinicians accept patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • I don't have insurance, can I do self-pay?
Yes, our office accepts self-pay clients. Having an active and working credit or debit card on file is a requirement for self-pay clients and clients with an insurance copay.
  • Will my health insurance pay for my session?
Hillcrest most likely accepts your insurance. Multiple plans of Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, United Healthcare, and Medicaid are accepted by our office. Many plans have $0 copays, while others have small copays that are paid by the patient.
  • Does Hillcrest do medication management?
No we do not. Our office is a counseling and testing office. If you call us about medication management, we will refer you to an affiliated psychiatry office. If you have Medicaid and are requesting medication management, please contact your insurance provider and ask for in-network psychiatrists.
  • How can I request a copy of my records for my doctor?
As a patient you may request records, yourself, for a fee by calling our office. It is recommended to ask your physician to send a request to our office for record retrieval. All requests from offices must be authorized with a signature by the patient.
  • How early should I arrive for my appointment?
The recommended arrival time is 15 minutes before your appointment. This allows our front desk staff to provide you with a questionnaire and ask you for updated information if necessary. If you are a NEW patient, please arrive 30 minutes early if you still need to fill out an Intake Questionnaire, which provides our office with patient records and insurance information.
